If you are:
Then Master Mailer The mailer is suitable for mailing to a small number of email addresses. Larger lists can be done in batches. So how large a batch can the script handle? It varies with server speed and the size of the email copy going out. The determinant is browser time-out, the amount of time the browser waits for information from the server before deciding no more information is forthcoming. The mailer sends a one-line report to the browser that includes the destination address every time an email is sent. If your server is very fast and doesn't queue a lot of data before sending it on to the browser, you may successfully send to very large lists. In that case, the limitation might be the size of the web page your browser can load. First, try a list of under 500 email addresses. If successful, try a thousand. And so forth. If your browser does time out, you'll know that the last email address reported to your browser has had email sent to it. The email might also have been sent to additional addresses, but at least you won't need to resend to those already reported to your browser.
