Your email program lets you have different "folders" or "mailboxes" for sorting/filtering and storing your emails. Most popular email programs store the emails of each folder in a big file. No more do you have to copy and paste each email address from your emails. Just find the email folder file containing the emails you want the addresses from, upload it to your server, and put Master Addy Stripper to work. Master Addy Stripper returns a list of names and addresses, one per line, formatted correctly for your email's To: line. Outlook Express and Eudora for Windows both use .mbx extensions for their folder file names. Eudora for Macintosh uses no file name extensions, but uses the Eudora folder name as the hard drive file name. Pegasus for windows uses .pmm extension for file names containing multiple emails and .cnm for those containing only one email. Your email program might use a different file name convention. Load likely files into a word processor until you find one with multiple emails stored inside. (Note: Don't change or save any of the files you inspect. It might mess up your email program.) (Sorry, Unix and Linux only. If you don't use the mailing portion of the program then it will probably work well on NT, too.) Happy Holidays! Copyright 1999 by William Bontrager
